The base is a standard Clan War 3″ x 5″ beast base, so obviously this is quite a large model. The two loose pieces of metal on the base are ropes to link the ox and handler.
There is nothing wrong with this as such but given the simplistic design I find it hard to justify the £10.50 ($15.00) price tag currently attached to it. It just doesn't look worth it.
The hope was to find a model suitable for an Anvil of Despair conversion. My immediate impression is that this is not it. Adding a second ox would make it a bit more substantial and those forward rods could be shortened to confine it to the base. Unfortunately, you would have to construct a platform for the anvil to stand on and even then the large wheels would partially obscure the whole focus of the conversion.
Back to the drawing board.
