I know the term is not always immediately associated with a specific figure. Nonetheless, all of the leadership packages correspond to a ranking individual within a unit, so it makes some sense to designate the generic leaders from the Daimyo Edition box to represent the different ranks.

I think this one looks the best, so he gets to be Lieutenant (Chui). The other leader from the D.E. box will represent the Sergeant (Gunso) and the third rank, Corporal (Nikutai), will have to make do with a designated figure from whichever unit the leadership package is assigned to. For the time being this strikes me as nice clear simple convention, although I imagine it will all be a bit flexible according to the available points for the particular battle and the overall look of a particular unit.

To date there are no official AEG figures to represent the Kakita Regular Infantry. Step forward the Unaligned Infantry figures from the Daimyo Edition boxed set... they are after all the fairly average, run-of-the-mill core troops.

I got a little distracted with painting up the the Clan Chui to lead them and he ended up being finished a long time before his unit. The Clan Gunso (shown) will be in the second wave, with the remaining six Infantry figures.
